The future is Now

Jan. 20, 2011: A month ago the government green-lighted expansion of the Norwegian main airport Gardermoen to cope with rise in passenger traffic, boosting capacity with 33% from 2017.In 2010 inhabitants in our country on average boarded a flight 8.2 times.Fortunately for the environment most people on earth do not leave such greenhouse gas footprints.
I feel victim to official approved unnecessary emission of greenhouse-gases as the forecasted rise in travel mainly will be for luxury, and of no significance to society or business at all.As with passive smoking individuals should be given the option - no thanks. To lower CO2 footprint one could:
- Make video conferencing mandatory when possible
- Impose individuals a flight travel quote
