Thoughts from economist Jean-Francois Rischard

On a sad background Jean-Francois Rischard, economist and former vice president of The World Bank in an interesting interview explain his visions on how territorial and shortsighted governments can be forced to react in a responsible way when coming to global issues. The video is part of a full interview where Rischard first take overfishing of the seas as an example of a pressuring global problem, and then address other problems he discussed in a book from 2003. For me interviews of this kind can be hard to concentrate on for a longer time, if so I pause and brew a cup of coffee. In the end some very comforting thoughts, thank you to Rischard and website bigthink.
