Professor Gilbert Strang and his workplace MIT has uploaded a taped "Highlights in Calculus" five lecture introductory course to YouTube aimed at high school students, the videos also located at the MITopencourseware homesite.Although not in high school anymore I nevertheless find it great to have access to such a "Highlights" course when wanting to brush up, the lectures comparable to a valuable book or a beautiful painting.Web treasures like these tempt me to experiment and organise in MS Visual Basic Express, a resulting application using the Shockwave plugin tool seen above. The app for download here if someone interested, and thank you to YouTube, Prof. Strang and the production team for hosting and teaching. (EDIT may -12: App now browser / flashbased and number of lectures increased to 18)
