Astronomy course by Charles Bailyn

Professor Charles Bailyn and Yale University have
generous made a series of 24 video lectures on astronomy for non
scientists like me public on the net. This astronomy series is one of
many Open Yale Courses funded
by The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation,
and as hobby astronomer I must express my gratefulness for this exceptional opportunity to
updated my knowledge.I look forward to follow
these taped lessons, again for convenience I have organised the videos in a
small VB2008 application,
perhaps others will find it usefull too.I think the app will look OK
also on a wide screen and hope YouTube and Prof. Bailyn will forgive
me putting it on the web.Above image from Wikipedia of the "Ring
Nebula", visible in a 80 mm. telescope under a dark sky.
